The monsters got asked to audition for America’s Got Talent! They don’t know why, but they figure that if they need monsters from New Zealand then America must not have that much talent.
Anyway, here’s their audition video. They are expecting their prize to arrive shortly.
Finally. These have been nearly a year in the making (mostly because I’m slack), but they are finally done like a done thing!
Tutorial for how they were made can be found here.
After a nudge from someone on DeviantArt, I finally got around to making a tutorial for Freedom’s Call. Freedom’s Call being the staff I usually carry when wearing the Grey Warden Cosplay:
For those who are interested, the tutorial can be found here. 🙂
And, another section of Death’s costume is complete – this time his shroud. Death is resplendent in fabulous purple rags, and I had a lot of fun recreating these!

This has been a long time coming (nearly a year!) but it’s finally done – the most ridiculous prop I’ve ever tried to recreate! The picture doesn’t really do it justice – the thing stands as tall as me and the blade is 1.5m long, and I’m a mug for even considering making this costume. But loooooook!!!!
Tutorial for how it was made here.
I know, it’s been ages since I posted anything. I’ve had one of those years when there hasn’t been any real time for making, but I’m back on track now with the first of the tutorials for the Darksiders 2 – Death in Reaper form cosplay; his books!
This costume is one of those where you work for ages and ages and don’t finish anything, then suddenly a whole lot of things come together at once – so there should be more tutorials over the next few weeks. I have a deadline of end of October for this costume, so it’s my main priority now. Eek!
My latest cosplay attempt (Death from Darksiders 2 in Reaper form) carries these two books chained to its belt. Progress on this has been slow because of uni, but I’m steadily pulling it together. At 8 hours they probably took far longer than necessary but I’m really pleased with them!
They’re made from EVA foam and the only skilled part was painting them I guess. I’ll post a tutorial when the whole belt arrangement is done.
